The ancient Chinese energy practitioners believed that negative emotions create most  stress to our physical body. Anger, fear and anxiety for instance are like a battery acid eating through the organs, bones and other tissues. Negative emotions use up your precious energy that you need for balance and healing.

Our organs are able to store emotions. What you store affects your wellness.

Just like your blood needing to move continuously to support all the tissues, your emotional energy needs to travel without obstruction.

Practicing Energy Medicine and “healing sounds” techniques is a safe and an effective way of transforming negative emotions, reducing stress and rejuvenating your mind.

In this workshop, you will practice specific body postures and healing sounds designed to liberate congested emotional energy.

Additionally, you will explore and give a shape to your feelings using clay as an expression medium.

Conversations with Chakras

Sometimes when people experience profound changes in their lives, they feel an inner numbness, or a sense of having lost their way. Tuning into your chakras is an important step to reconnecting with yourself.

 

Connecting to your authentic self is intrinsically linked with the heart chakra, an energy center in the body that multiplies energies. What you put in this energy center reverberates and stimulates coherent communication with all of the other energy systems in your body.

 

Although the importance of clear communication is more obvious in our everyday lives, it is just as active inside you. One of the ways to jumpstart internal communication is to tune into to the chakra energy system that exists within each of us. With a little training and practice you will be able to recognize the energetic messages your body is sending.

 

In this workshop you’ll engage in dialoguing with different chakra themes supported by a form of creative expression. You will create “Taro-Chakra” personal journey cards to preserve and record your experience.

There are many ways to keep balance in life. One of the best ways to return to harmony with nature and ourselves is to start a day with a gentle chi gong routine. During the retreat we will start our mornings exploring different chi gong movements that liberate stale and stressed energy from muscles, joints, and organs. We will explore different ways to influence our bodies with fresh chi that rejuvenates and stabilizes our minds, emotions and tissues. There are many benefits of helping your body shift energetic deficiencies and excess.

 

Chi gong was designed to help people regain strength, vitality inner peace and joy. After mastering basic skills you will be able to create your own morning routine based of chi gong techniques.

VISION BOARDS

Make the Law of Attraction Work For You!

So what is a vision?  Visualization is being able to create a mental picture in your mind of what you would like to be, do, have and feel. This retreat is about self-discovery, so creating a vision board is all about your dreams, goals and visions of a life you can't wait to live!   There will be plenty of time in the week to spend creating and molding this life. This workshop will be in the first couple of days of the retreat so that you can start and continue to work on your vision board at your leisure. 

 

Your vision board will provide you the incentive to make your dream/s come true, to think outside what you might feel is a limitation for you and provide you with a detailed vision of all the possibilities for your life!

Positive Life Changes By Shifting Your Thoughts

Every thought you think and every word you say is an affirmation.  In fact, you are using affirmations in each and every moment. Words have a powerful effect on the subconscious mind, so one must choose their thoughts carefully. You will learn to create affirmations that will put you on a whole new path to positive ways of thinking. 

 

Included in the workshop are several affirmations and blank affirmations for you to learn to write your own affirmations.

JOURNALING

Gain a Better Understanding of Yourself and Others

Scientific evidence supports the fact that journaling provides unexpected benefits. The act of writing accesses your left brain, which is analytical and rational. While your left brain is occupied, your right brain is free to create, intuit and feel.

Journaling is known to remove mental blocks and allows you to use all of your brainpower to better understand yourself, others and the world around you. A personal journal will be provided to each guest at the first workshop on the day of arrival and will become part of your day each day.
